A small studio with a love of filigree

Filigree is the fine, openwork ornamentation that turns a flat sheet of wood into something delicate and lasting. It gave us our name — and it is the idea behind every piece we make.

Filigrelle is a small, EU-based studio. We design each piece ourselves, cut it to order with a precision laser, then sand, check and pack it by hand. From wedding place cards to family name signs and decorative wall art, nothing is made until it is made for you.

How we work

Cut by light, finished by hand

A fine laser beam traces each design into the wood, leaving clean edges and openwork detail as delicate as lace. Every piece is then sanded, inspected and packed by hand before it leaves the studio.

We keep our range small on purpose: fewer pieces, made properly, in three woods that we know well. If you have something particular in mind — a wedding set in one finish, a sign in an unusual size — just ask.
