What data we process and why

Orders and checkout

When you place an order, we process your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and order details (items, price, order history) in order to process and deliver your order, handle returns, and comply with our accounting and tax obligations. The legal basis is performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for accounting records, legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). We retain order and invoice data for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law (generally several years).

Payments

Card and other payment details are not stored on our servers. Payments are processed by our payment providers (WooCommerce Payments / Stripe, and PayPal), who process your payment data under their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS compliance obligations as independent controllers or processors for the payment step.

Advertising and marketing measurement

We use advertising integrations with Google (product listings), Reddit Ads, and Snapchat Ads to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns. Depending on your cookie/consent choices, this may involve sharing limited order or interaction data (such as a hashed email address or purchase value) with these platforms for ad performance measurement, in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data to these or any other third party.

Newsletter

If our newsletter sign-up is active at the time you visit, and you subscribe, we process your email address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) to send you updates about new products and offers. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link or by writing to hello@filigrelle.com.

Who we share data with

We share data with parties strictly necessary to run the shop: our hosting provider, our payment providers (WooCommerce Payments/Stripe, PayPal), and our shipping/delivery partners (to the extent needed to deliver your order), plus the advertising platforms described above where applicable. We do not sell your data.

Transfers outside the EU

Hantasy OÜ is registered in Estonia (EU). We process data within the European Economic Area by default. Where a service provider (e.g. a payment or advertising platform) processes data outside the EEA, an adequate level of protection is ensured as required by GDPR (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses), as described in that provider’s own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data,
  • rectify inaccurate data,
  • erasure (“right to be forgotten”), subject to our legal retention obligations for order/invoice records,
  • restrict processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Complaints

If you believe our processing of your data violates GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Hantasy OÜ, the competent authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee), but you may also contact the data protection authority in your own country.
